Hi! I am Kairee, a mom, wife, and a self taught artist.  My work is a celebration of the diversity and beauty found in humanity. My portraits are not just faces, they are stories told through colors, expressions, and the unique energy each individual portrays. I use color to communicate emotion, and use it as the primary language in my work.  
By portraying people of different backgrounds and cultures, I try to create a visual experience that brings honor to the uniqueness of each culture.  My goal is to create work that makes people feel seen, valued, and celebrated.  Through art, I endeavor to remind the viewer that diversity is not just something to acknowledge, but to cherish.
I started my journey to becoming an artist in 2020 when I created Desert Sky. This was my first accomplishment as an artist and a piece I cherish, because it led me to the artist I am today. 
I am greatly inspired by Yulia Brodskya. Without her, I never would have tried to open the door to paper art.
